I seem to recall him swearing in a live tv interview when he first came on the scene as a young player
Yeah he is on everything the same as Laura Woods & i cant stand either mostly because they are annoying & over bubbly.
Most of the male pundits on tv now dress like they are going to a funeral and we no longer have a man of the match award as its not PC (person) same as batsman in cricket (batter)
I just want to watch the sport and not have to tolerate all that bollocks..

Thought that clip they showed of him jumping up and shouting for CITY during the Man U game while Roy Keane was sat next to him was unprofessional and disrespectful.
Keane should have decked him.
There is a point now where some pundits are bullet proof and could do anything & would be retained. Him and Tanni Grey-Thompson are examples. Along with Garth Crooks.

You can always tell the best pundits (if you're bothered by what any of them have to say), by the way they interpret the game they are watching at half time. That's why I think Joe Cole is really good. For me he always seems to understand immediately what has been happening and can offer a concise and coherent analysis of what is happening during his 3 minutes at half time.
Worlds away from most of them. Richards is basically a clown who is there because he played for Man City relatively recently and they don't have many others to choose from. For some reason Sky et al need ex players form the successful teams rather than ones who offer the best insight.
Others like Alan Shearer have about 5 hours to spend with researchers and analysts and despite that help can only come up with saying 'sensational' 10 times on MOTD for his million quid a year.

Micah Richards is like an upgrade on Ian Wright as a pundit.
He's a clown but he actually also does have some insight. Ian Wright was just like a 11 year old fan in a studio.
You need someone loud and funny to balance out Shearer being dull, boring and lacking any insight at all. The most overpaid man on TV.
